Picturin' Birthdays and Babies

As most of you probably know, my interest in photography has evolved into a full blown OBSESSION. Hard to spot me these days without a baby on one hip and a beefy camera on the other! Seriously. I've also had the awesome opportunity to photograph other people, most recently an AMAZING birthday party and a newborn session, with other shoots on the horizon. Pretty cool stuff. We'll see how this photography thing plays out in terms of growing into an actual business- for now I am quite content capturing sweet and special moments for people, while building my portfolio. On that note, I thought I'd share some pics from my recent shoots.

Below is an absolutely incredible birthday party I got to shoot for my friend Michelle. She and her daughter, Sammy, are in both our PEPS and BCC mom-n-me groups with us! This circus-themed birthday was for her now 3-year-old daughter, Jenna, and let me tell ya- it was UNreal. Michelle is a phenomenal party planner. She pulled out all the stops and didn't overlook any details. We're talking real ponies, a clown, face painter, snow cone machine, hot dog cooker, giant popcorn popper (is that what they call those things?), an insane candy bar, bounce house, yadda yadda... you get the idea! Needless to say, Jenna had every little girls' DREAM birthday party! Also, ever seen a more ADORABLE birthday girl?! Didn't think so. Alright, enough writing. Enjoy!
