Christmas Card Outtakes

Below are a few of the outtakes in my quest for the perfect Christmas card photo. I am excited to say that I finally got THE shot(s), which most of you will be seeing in your mailboxes soon! :-)

This was taken right before he got fed up and launched the bulbed candle, shattering it into a million pieces. Then, while I was cleaning up, he proceeded to chuck big glass ornaments at the hardwood floors. Again, shattering. Point taken, little man. Point taken.

The other night, to my surprise and Brecken's delight, Brian broke down and gave the little man his first taste of a York's peppermint patty. Yep, he's a fan!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy (belated) Thankgiving, friends and family!! We hope that everyone had a wonderful turkey day, as did we. This year we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa Schwenk and Uncle Brad in the tri-cities. We had such a great time, and have so much to be thankful for!

I Couldn't Resist

Okay, so I try sooo hard to refrain from posting images from my photo shoots in an effort to keep this blog strictly BRECKEN. However, last weekend I had a family portrait session with the awesome Shero family and captured this sweet image, which I just HAD to share. If this doesn't scream motherly love, I honestly don't know what does!

Two more. Then I'm done. Promise!

One day I'll finally get around to building a website or blog for all of my photography stuff. Soon!

PEPS Halloween Party!

Today was the Halloween party with our PEPS friends! Here are pix of all the little kiddos in their adorable Halloween costumes. They were all ridiculously cute!!

For comparison sake, I threw in a group pic from the PEPS party last year. Isn't it crazy how much they've grown?!

Brecken made a new friend at the party, Hope! He loooves doggies, so it was no big surprise that he attached himself to her.

Choo Choo!

Last week, Brecken's friend, Stella, came over for a little portrait session. At about the time we wrapped up the shoot, Brecken awoke from his nap, so of course we let them play for a bit. As you can see, Brecken and Stella took turns pushing each other on Thomas the ball-popping choo choo train! They really couldn't get enough. It was soooo cute!!

Pickin' Pumpkins!

Last weekend we went to a pumpkin patch out in Carnation, where we met up with Brecken's friend, Stella, and her parents, Sarah and Cam. We had such a great time, and found ourselves 3 perfect pumpkins in the process!
