Growing Up

Today was a sad day as I went through the little bear's closet and packed up his clothes that no longer fit. I will forever be amazed at how quickly he outgrows his adorable little outfits! While I absolutely love watching him develop into such a sweet and funny little BOY, there are some things I wish I could put the breaks on. And this would be one of them. Although it broke my heart just a little to store this teeny tiny outfits away, perhaps Brecken will have a little brother (or cousin *wink*) someday that he can pass them along too.

We cannot believe our sweet little boy is already 6 months old! Where does the time go?? Seriously.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Yesterday was Daddy's 31st birthday! Even though Mommy and Daddy already celebrated with a fancy date night on Friday (MANY thanks to Nonni for watching the little bear!!), we continued the celebration yesterday with dinner at the Cheesecake factory, presents (Xbox Kinect and nerdy F# book he's been lusting over), and of course, birthday cake. Well, technically he just blew out the candles since we were still WAY too full from the CF. Guess the celebration will just have to continue!

First Solid Food

Tonight we gave Brecken his first taste of solid food - rice cereal. He actually seemed to enjoy it and really got the hang of being spoon fed. We took a video too, which I plan to post very soon. In the meantime, here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Yesterday we went over to Aunt Stacey and Uncle Andy's to watch the Seahawks game. Even though they didn't win, we had a wonderful time hanging out with our friends!
